Everyone of us, in life, has preferences and needs, even about dogs. There are people who may like a sweet and quiet puppy who can keep the family company, other people who may like a severe guardian, and some other people who may like a dog to take it to expos, and so on.
The breeders, knowing the breed and the puppies since they're born, will be able to advise you and help you in choosing who, between the newborn puppies, can be the best for your needs. Let us know, then, what you are looking for, so that, thanks to our experience, we can direct you towards the most suitable one.
We accept reservations so the choice of the puppy will follow the reservation order.

Who should choose a South Russian Ovcharka?
The SRO is a big sized dog with a high sense of territory and defense. It needs a place to run, freedom and human contact (especially when it's young).
  • It's not suitable to live in an apartament because, apart from the size problem, it needs to move, patrol and defend the limit of its territory.

  • It's not suitable for people who are searching for an agility or obedience dog because, even if some of them can be particularly good at them, they normally are rather unwilling to obey.

  • It's ABSOLUTELY not suitable for people who want to attend self-defence courses because, being naturally aggressive, the SRO becomes easily and irreversibly uncontrollable which means violent both with strangers and family.

  • It's not suitable for people who don't have eperience with dogs: being particularly dominant dogs, they should be bred by someone who already knows how to educate a puppy.

  • It doesn't have problems living with other dogs but only if it knows them since being a puppy and learns the existing hierarchies.

  • It doesn't have problems living with children but only if it knows them since being a puppy.
If you think that you and your kind of life are suitable for a SRO, then it's time to choose your puppy.

How to choose your puppy?
Male or Female?
The male is usually more dominant and territorial, hardly pliable. He loves human contact and, in particular, snuggles but, being extremely indipendent, it doesn't suffer for loneliness, on the contrary, it often appreciates it. After the adoloscence enthusiasm, it becomes a very quiet dog, though it still remains a very good guardian.
The female, on the other hand, is more pliable, more affectionate and playful. It is less dominant (even if there are some exceptions, like our Masha) and its exuberance often remains even when it's adult.

IMPORTANT!
For Italian Buyers: the puppies will be given to the new owners after 65-70 days from their birth with vaccinations, microchip and the subscription to the ENCI ROI.
For FOREIGN buyers: the puppies will be given to the new owners only after the third month of age because under Italian law, dog puppies can cross the state borders only if they have the anti-rabbic vaccine and this kind of vaccine can be done only during the 12-14th week of life. In this case too, the puppies will have vaccinations, microchip and the subscription to the ENCI ROI.
